We had such a fun day today exploring the various borders of Israel! We started our day by rafting on the Jordan River. We had our second day of options. We had Shacharit as a Kvutza before we split into our groups. The arts and culture group began their day sketching an overlook of Jerusalem, before heading to the Israel museum. The environment group continued to volunteer at the same vineyard as yesterday. We started off our day with rejoining our group after the free weekend in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv! On Friday morning, our chanichim headed to their free weekend hosts for Shabbat. The chanichim that stayed at Agron visited the Music Museum and completed an escape room (in 44 minutes!) on Friday. On Saturday, we had a restful Shabbat daytime. We are excited for the group to reconvene today!
Today, we were led by our NOAM teens, Noga and Shaham in our Shacharit service in the Bet Knesset of Kibbutz Ketura. They taught us new melodies and hand motions for a few of the prayers we sing every day! We had a seminar, where we got to see how they vote on real issues Continue Reading »
