Today we went to Majdanek to visit the site and hear the stories of those who lived and died there. July 7-8 Shabbat

We had a busy Friday, exploring  the Israel Mueseum, Second Temple Museum, and Museum of the Dead Sea Scrolls. We went to the Shuk before Shabbat and then brought in Shabbat together.   on Saturday, we went to local synagogues in Jerusalem for morning services. We started our morning with a fun and engaging shacharit in which everyone got to creatively express a portion of the amidah in pairs and then put it together as a group to see the whole prayer. July 6 Jerusalem

Today we toured the various Holocaust memorials around Berlin. We started our day by davening shacharit, with a special Yankee Doodle adon olam to celebrate the Fourth of July! July 5 Jerusalem

We started our day with Shacharit in Agron. We hiked the Sataf and learned about it’s history from our fantastic tour guide, Shacham. We had free time and lunch in the Shuk. We volunteered at Tachlit, packing fresh fruits and vegetables for those in need.  We  had Mincha overlooking Jerusalem, before going to Nefesh BNefesh. Continue Reading »

We began our Fourth of July in Bet Guvrin  national park. We sang a festive Adon Olam to the tune of Yankee Doodle.
