Today we rested and enjoyed our first Shabbat of the summer. We started with breakfast and shacharit where we talked about the important aspects of building our community this summer. Today kima va’ad started our day by waking everyone up at 7:30am. After landing in Warsaw, we excitedly chugged our water bottles to go through security once again! Before our flight to Prague, we had some time to roam around the airport and stock up on snacks. We had an amazing first day all together! After gathering at JFK, we ordered some Jerusalem Pizza and enjoyed while we waited for the rest of the group to arrive! We woke up bright and early this morning, packed up the bus, ate breakfast, and then hit the road, leaving gorgeous Eilat behind. We drove 40 minutes and arrived at Kibbutz Ketora, one of only seven kibbutzim that aren’t privatized. We had a seminar about how this kibbutz worked and asked lots of questions! Today was a fun-filled day with Epic Israel! We started off by snorkeling in the gorgeous Red Sea, where colorful coral and ocean life were abundant.
